A Social Week

Hello Blog People!     Welcome to the end of another week. I’m so excited to recap this week and let you know what I’ve been doing :) Let’s get to it.       Let’s start with last Sunday (domenica scorsa). I spent the day studying with my friends. This is not super consequential. EXCEPT for the fact that they took me to a new place called The Social Hub and I FELL IN LOVE! You guys! I got so excited, so inspired at this place, I was almost jumping up and down. Let me explain.   One of the open work spaces The Social Hub is a hotel/extended stay/student housing/co-working space in Florence. Sunsets are my favorite! Hello Blog People!      I have completed another week of school and got to travel to another town in Italy. It was a pretty typical week, but I learned a bit and it has been good. And it had lavender in it! It was really good. Afterward, we walked around the city center a bit, then to Santa Croce, a famous church with a gorgeous facade in the city center. We then found this awesome glass shop that had tons of gorgeous earrings and necklaces for sale. I didn’t buy any that day, but I will definitely be going back and buying a pair. We watched the sunset from the sidewalk along the river and then hea...

There are three big things that I need to cover, and though there won't be as much detail, you will get the general information about each time. These times are finals, Christmas Break, and coming back.  Finals      My finals were crazy. I was so stressed because had three tests all in one day. This was good because then all my finals were done. This was bad because all my language finals were in one day. I think I was very stressed because our grade was mostly made up of the result of our final. I had to prepare for a long paper test for grammar, covering basics that we learned at the beginning of the year to past tense verb conjugations. For Phonetics, we had a two-part test. The first part was a big spelling test, along with some sentences we had to write down. The second part was part of our oral exam, combined with ...
